Biotope et développement de la Truffe

Biotope and truffle development

The soil must be clay-limestone, with a pH greater than 7, with few organic substances, nitrogen, phosphorus, but rich in potassium.

Truffle will know exponential growth during the summer period, passing from a few grams to an average weight of 30 to 80 gr depending on the moisture conditions essential to its development.

Mycorrhization is done, naturally by the presence of spores in the soil, either artificially in mycorhizing the roots of tree nursery. The meeting of the male and female myceliums will produce the trucklettes.
